Copper-tungsten alloy (copper-tungsten alloy, CuW or WCu) is a pseudo-alloy of copper and tungsten. Since copper and tungsten are insoluble in each other, the material consists of distinct particles of one metal dispersed in a matrix of another metal. Tungsten-copper alloy is a composite material of tungsten and copper, which has the excellent properties of tungsten and copper, such as heat resistance, low thermal expansion, high arc resistance, good electrical conductivity, high heat, ablation resistance, high strength, excellent thermal conductivity and conductivity. Because of its high hardness, high melting point, and anti-adhesion characteristics, tungsten is usually used for projection welding and butt welding electrodes with certain wear resistance and high temperature resistance. Tungsten copper alloy is easy to process. Tungsten copper alloy is widely used in engine, electric power, electronics, metallurgy, aerospace, aviation and other industries.
