Brazing is a solid-phase and liquid-phase welding method. It mainly uses a metal with a lower melting point as a brazing material. After heating, the brazing material is melted, and then the brazing material is introduced into the gap between the contact surfaces of the joint to wet the surface of the metal soldered material, which can make the liquid and solid phases diffuse to each other to form a brazed joint.
1. The benefits of using brazing
Brazing can complete multiple welding seams at the same time, the joints are beautiful and neat, the required equipment and raw materials are simple, deformation resistance, small impact on the performance of welding materials and low cost.
2. Classification of brazing
(1) According to the different melting points of the solder, brazing is divided into two categories: soft soldering and hard soldering. (Brazil is the filler metal that forms the brazed joint and requires excellent chemical and mechanical properties.)
(2) Brazing can be divided into: flame brazing, induction brazing, furnace brazing and resistance brazing according to different heat sources or heating methods.
3. Application of brazing
Brazing is often used as an important welding method for the manufacture of carbide cutting tools, drilling bits, electronic vacuum devices, conduits and various containers. And it can also be used for welding carbon steel, stainless steel, high temperature alloy, aluminum, copper and other metal materials, and it is also very suitable for precision, micro and complex weldments. Our company can provide a series of tungsten alloy products as brazing tools, such as tungsten copper alloy, tungsten molybdenum alloy, tungsten heavy alloy rod and so on.
