High specific gravity tungsten alloys are usually refractory metals containing W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu and even W-Ni-Cu-Fe complexes. Rare earths add/or other metals such as cobalt, molybdenum, and chromium to some tungsten alloys.
