Introduction:

Titanium zirconium molybdenum alloy Rod is the so-called TZM Rod, which refers to molybdenum-0.5% titanium-0.1% zirconium alloy. The common preparation methods of TZM alloy (molybdenum zirconium titanium alloy) are: arc melting-casting method and powder metallurgy technology. The arc melting-casting method of TZM rod is to melt pure molybdenum with electric arc, add a certain amount of Ti, Zr and other alloying elements by weight percentage, and then obtain TZM alloy (molybdenum zirconium titanium alloy) by conventional casting method; powder metallurgy has unique chemical composition and mechanical and physical properties that cannot be obtained by traditional casting methods. The alloy has better weldability and higher strength/hardness. TZM Rod/bars are made from metal powder, pressed into ingots, sintered, then die cast, and drawn to the desired size.
