Product Description
Corrosion Resistant Tungsten Heavy Alloy Plates is mainly divided into W nickel-iron alloy, W nickel-copper alloy, and even W nickel-iron-copper alloy. In contrast, the wide nickel-iron alloy has better mechanical properties, the national defense industry and the national economy in all fields play a huge role, is a very important new material in the national defense industry, and gradually extended to a variety of civil industries.
Heavy tungsten alloy is a kind of tungsten based alloy material (tungsten content is generally 80% to 98%), and a small amount of Ni, Fe, Cu, Co, Mo, Cr and other elements. The density of high specific gravity tungsten alloy is up to 15.20~18.70g/cm3, also known as high specific gravity tungsten alloy or high density alloy material. Because tungsten alloys weigh more than twice as much as steel.
A common method of preparing heavy tungsten alloys is to mix the desired amount of tungsten, iron, nickel or copper powder and then perform cold pressing and liquid phase sintering to near full density. During the liquid phase treatment, the base tungsten alloy melts and causes some tungsten to enter the solution, thus forming a microstructure that disperses large tungsten particles (20-60μm) in the base alloy.

In addition to being used for gyro rotors, it is also used in missile guidance devices.
An important use of high gravity tungsten alloy is for elevator control and rudder balancing devices for aircraft and helicopters, wing and rudder control devices for aircraft, and shock absorption devices for aircraft. As a static and dynamic weight reduction and shock absorption device for helicopter rotor blades.
