Product Description

High Temperature Resistant Heavy Tungsten Alloy Moulds 90WNiCu

Heavy Tungsten Alloy Moulds are mainly divided into w nickel iron alloy, w nickel copper alloy, and even w nickel iron copper alloy. In contrast, wide nickel ferroalloy has better mechanical properties and plays a great role in various fields of national defense industry and national economy. It is a very important new material in national defense industry and gradually extends to various civil industries.

What is Heavy Tungsten Alloy Moulds?

  • Heavy tungsten alloy is a tungsten based alloy material (tungsten content is generally 80% - 98%), which contains a small amount of nickel, iron, copper, Cu, Co, Mo, Cr and other elements. The density of high specific gravity tungsten alloy can reach 15.20~18.70g/cm3, which is also called high specific gravity tungsten alloy or high density alloy material. Because the weight of tungsten alloy is more than twice that of steel.
  • A common method of manufacturing heavy tungsten alloys is to mix the required tungsten, iron, nickel or copper powder, and then cold press and liquid phase sintering to near full density. In the process of liquid phase treatment, the base tungsten alloy melts, making part of tungsten enter the solution to form large dispersed tungsten particles (20~60 μ m).

Application of Heavy Tungsten Alloy Moulds

  1. In addition to being used for gyro rotors, it is also used for missile guidance devices.

  2. An important use of high gravity tungsten alloy is in elevator control and rudder balancing devices of aircraft and helicopters, wings and rudder control devices of aircraft, and shock absorption devices of aircraft. As static and dynamic shock absorber of helicopter rotor blades.
