Product Description
Heavy tungsten alloy ring is made of tungsten base (tungsten content is generally 80% -98%) and a small amount of nickel, iron, copper, cobalt, molybdenum, chromium and other elements. Gravity tungsten alloys have a density of up to 15.20~18.70g/cm3, also called gravity tungsten alloys or high-density alloy materials. Because the tungsten alloy weighs more than twice as much as the steel.

Tungsten alloy has a series of excellent properties, high proportion: general gravity lead 16.5-18.75g/cm3, high strength: tensile strength 700-1000mpa, strong light absorption capacity: 30-40% higher than the general gravity lead, thermal conductivity: 5 times modulus steel; low thermal expansion coefficient: only 1 / 2-1 / 3 of carbon steel, with good conductivity and welding processing capacity.
A common process for making heavy tungsten alloys is to mix the desired tungsten, iron, nickel, or copper powder, followed by cold pressure and liquid-phase sintering until close to full density. During the liquid phase treatment, the matrix tungsten alloy melts, and part of the tungsten enters the solution to form a microscopic tissue, making the larger tungsten particles (20-60m) dispersed in the matrix alloy.
The dual source range densimeter uses tungsten alloy as a shielding element to measure the oil content of the oil layer several kilometers below the surface. The instrument has the advantages of small volume, high precision, long service life and wide application.
