Product Description

MP35N alloy wire Diameter 1.5mm/3mm AMS 5844 260 to 300 ksi (1793-2086 MPa)

MP35N alloy wire is a non-magnetic nickel cobalt chromium molybdenum alloy, which has unique ultra-high tensile strength (up to 300ksi [2068mpa], good ductility, toughness and very good corrosion resistance. In addition, the alloy also exhibits outstanding resistance to vulcanization, high temperature oxidation and hydrogen embrittlement. The unique properties of mp35n are obtained by work hardening, phase transformation and aging treatment. If the alloy is used under full work hardening conditions, the recommended temperature is 750 ° f (399 ° C) with an operating temperature of - 200-315 ° C.

3, Purpose of mp35n:

Mp35n alloy can be used for fasteners, springs, non-magnetic components and instrument components in medical, seawater, oil and gas wells, chemical and food processing environments.

4, Corrosion resistance:

Mp35n has good properties of anti sulfurization, high temperature oxidation, brittleness, salt spray and most mineral acids. The alloy has the ability to resist stress corrosion cracking under severe environment and high strength. The alloy also has high resistance to local corrosion, such as pitting and crevice corrosion.

5, Room temperature strength:

The yield strength of mp35n can reach 1999 MPa

MP35 N wire specification Φ 0.03m/m ~ Φ 12m / M delivery status: spring hard wire (tensile strength ≥ 1400MPa), acid white / hydrogen soft wire, fine wire delivery, round steel (hot rolling or solid solution delivery)

Characteristics of MP35N alloy:

  • ① High strength, excellent ductility and toughness.
  • ② The fastener alloy is the most corrosion-resistant, which can withstand most mineral acid, hydrogen sulfide, seawater and salt spray environments, and has excellent resistance to stress corrosion, crevice corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement.
  • ③ The maximum working temperature is 400 ℃.
  • ④ Corrosion resistant fastener materials have the highest fatigue strength.
  • ⑤ The minimum shear strength is 1000MPa, and the corrosion-resistant fastener material is the highest.

the microstructure, monotonic, and cyclic response of as drawn ~100 μm diameter MP35N low-Ti alloy wire were presented and discussed. In this sequel paper, the effects of annealing the same cold-drawn wire on microstructure and mechanical properties are examined. Specifically, segments of the wire were annealed for 1 h at 973 K, 1023 K, 1073 K, 1123 K and 1173 K in a vacuum furnace. .
