Product Description

Overview

Nickel Chromium Alloy Wire is an alloy wire made mainly from nickel and chromium, combined with a small amount of trace elements, melted and drawn into an alloy wire. It is one of the most widely used electric heating alloy materials on the market. It features stable resistivity, rapid heating, high temperature resistance, resistance to oxidation and rust, good toughness, and is not easily brittle.

This alloy wire has a high temperature resistance range, uniform heating, and high heat conversion efficiency, making it less likely to deform or fuse due to long-term high-temperature use. In daily use, it is commonly used in household electric stoves, heaters, hair dryers, ovens, electric heating tubes, and other household heating equipment. It is also widely applied in industrial electric heating equipment, precision resistor components, and high-temperature heating devices, adapting to various high and low temperature heating conditions and offering strong practicality.

Features

  • Ni80Cr20 is a high-performance nickel-chromium-based high-temperature resistance alloy, containing approximately 80% nickel (Ni) and 20% chromium (Cr), with trace amounts of iron, manganese, silicon, and other elements.
  • Due to its high nickel and chromium content, this alloy exhibits resistance to corrosive environments such as those caused by sulfides.
  • It has higher resistance at room temperature, making it ideal for manufacturing various resistance heating elements. Even at high temperatures, it maintains stable electrophysical properties, making it suitable for precision heating equipment.
  • It possesses excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance, forming a dense and stable Cr₂O₃ oxide film on its surface at high temperatures. This allows it to operate continuously in environments ranging from 1100 to 1200°C.
  • It exhibits good machinability and weldability, with good cold deformation plasticity, facilitating cold working processes such as wire drawing (down to the micron level), rolling into strips or foils.
  • It maintains stable mechanical properties; its microstructure remains stable even after long-term use, preventing brittle fracture and ensuring a long service life.
